Description

Here is an antique F C Greiner from Rauenstein in Meissen Germany Blue and White Ribbed Serving Platter. The Meissen Crossed Swords with the Rauenstein mark dates this to around the 1860s, exquisitely detailed design of gold outlined hand painted blue flowers with red tips, with a cute bird sitting on a branch in the center of the design.

The platter measures approximately 11.75″ by 8.5″. It is in good vintage condition, no chips or crazing, does have a small crack on the edge shown in photo , some iron spots and pits from age, wear to the trim. Remember this is 150 years old. It will still look great on display.

Please look at the photos closely as they are part of the description.
