Here is a beautiful pattern and a lovely teacup and saucer from Crown Derby with the initials “JW” on the side, so this was probably a special order. Royal Crown Derby is one of England’s oldest bone china manufacturers. It is beautifully decorated with hand painted yellow and lilac flowers. It holds just over 1 cup so a bit larger than normal.
Quite lovely and just imagine having afternoon tea or your morning coffee with this.
The derby crown mark without a cypher indicates that it was made between 1877 to 1890.
The cup measures just over 2.75″ in diameter, 3.5″ with the handle and 2.75″ high.
The saucer measures just over 5.25″ in diameter.
It is in very good vintage condition The teacup has no chips or cracks, some wear on the gold work to be expected of something over 100 years old. . Please look at the photos closely as they are part of the description and see how really lovely it is. A great chance to get this very rare item.
Perfect to add to any collection or a gift to the tea or coffee lover.
