Description
This is a spectacular plate from the Jean Pouyat Factory in Limoges France. It is factory decorated and hand painted with lovely purple flowers with brushed gold handles.
There are two marks on the bottom, the Green porcelain mark used 1891-1932 and red decoration mark used 1890 for only a few years. So that puts it between 1891 and 1895
The plate measures 10.75" in diameter and 1.25" high. It is in very good condition considering it is 100 years old. No chips or cracks or scratches that I could see, some wear to the gold, and had a gold trim at some point, remember it is well over 100 years old but please look at the photos carefully as they are part of the description.
