Description
This is a stunning piece, a large oval serving tray beautifully decorated with a graduated pastel pink color with what looks like a silver overlay which should polish up nicely id so desired. The handles have embossing. The underside of the tray is unglazed. It is marked but I have not been able to determine whose mark it is, but based on the fact the underside is unglazed and the design it is very similar to other Limoges tray from the later 1800s and early 1900s. Photos do not do this justice at all.
The tray or plate measures about 14.75″ in diameter and 11″ wide.
It is in very good vintage condition. There are no chips or cracks, a few iron spots from age. Stunning.
