This beautiful flow blue plate made by W H Grindley & Co England in the Melbourne pattern. The pattern is a lovely dark blue cobalt blue color of floral vignettes outlines in gold and is slightly raised white bead work on the edges. It is suitable for desserts or salads, or for display.
The steamer marks places this as being made between 1891 to 1914.
The plate measures 9″ across.
It is in great condition for being over 100 years old! There are no chips or cracks, some minor crazing from age. It is still very pretty and useable – would look great on display.. Please look at the photos to see quality and condition as they are part of the description.
