Description
A lovely hand painted Nippon covered vegetable or serving dish made in Japan, beautifully decorated with very delicate gold beaded moriage work with gold flowers and scroll work. Rather lovely.
The mark places this as being made in the early 1900s to about 1918.
It measures 8.5″ in diameter with the handles and 4.5″ high. It is in good vintage shape. No chips, nicks or scratches, has one iron spot and some minor wear to the trim, but the moriage gold work looks to be in good shape. Please look at the photos closely to see the quality of this piece but also the good condition it is in as they are part of the description.
