1920s Vintage Limoges Haviland France Hand Painted Gold Encrusted Large 16" Oval Serving Platter

Description

Here is a lovely gold encrusted 16″ oval serving platter from Haviland Limoges France, decorated with charming pink flowers and whispy green branches, and just look at the huge gold trim. You can see the great detail and brush strokes. Beautiful colors that really pop out. Really quite lovely and will look great on display and brighten any room. Photos do not do this justice.

The mark dates this piece to 1900 to 1932, but this was part of a large set that date to 1928. We have a number of pieces with this same decoration.

The platter measures 16″ by 10.75″. It is in very good vintage condition, no chips, cracks or crazing, some minor wear, pitting and pin prick iron spots from age. Please examine the photos closely as they are part of the description.
