Here is a nice English bone china sugar bowl and creamer set with the matching under plate made by Sampson Smith Longton works from their Old Royal Line. Decorated with Purple pansies. Very nice indeed. Photos do not do it justice.
The mark places this as being made from 1930 to 1941.
The sugar bowl measures about 2″ high and 3 1/8″ across.
The creamer measures 2 7/8″ handle to spout and 3″ high.
The under plate measures 8 1/8″ by 4.25″. It is in very good condition looks like it was never used, one tiny pin prick iron spot in teacup.
