Here is a lovely teacup and saucer by Royal Standard English Bone China from the Chapmans Longton works in North Staffordshire England, decorated in the Royal Tudor pattern with lovely purple Tudor Roses with a gently scalloped edge. This is a cut above the average teacup with the lovely design continuing on the inside of the teacup.
Imagine Afternoon tea or Sunday Morning breakfast with this lovely teacup.
The marks was used from 1949, so probably dates this to the early 50s.
The teacup measures 3.75″ wide not including the handle and just over 2″ high.
The saucer measures 5.5″ in diameter.
It is in good vintage condition, no chips or cracks, but does have a bit of wear on the outside shown in the photo for which we have discounted the price. Otherwise it looks like it has been hardly used. Please look at the photos closely to see the great quality and condition as they are part of the description.
