Antique English Bone China Frederick Rhead Wileman Foley Shelley "Intarsio" Beer Ale Pitcher Monks 3154

Here is a very rare piece indeed a Antique English Bone China Wileman Foley Shelley “Intarsio” Beer or Ale Pitcher designed by Frederick Rhead decorated with Monks drinking beer on each side and at the top of the pitcher has the phrase” A Chirping cup is my ma’tin song and the vesper bell is my bowl ding gong”, it is numbered 3154. Wileman Foley was the precursor to Shelley. Colors are bright and vivid.

The pitcher measures 7.5″ high by 6.75″ wide handle to spout. These Intarsion pieces are form 1890 to 1899.

It is in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks, does have some crazing but is hard to see because of the dark colors so does not detract at all. Inside is clean. Please look at the photos closely as they are part of the description.
