Description
How often do you come across a something that is well over 200 years old, a charming Crown Derby teapot . Decorated with a simple but elegant gold floral design and a Royal blue and gold trim. Imagine your next afternoon tea with this teapot. It holds 3 cups easily.
The painted mark was used from 1782 to 1825, but the blue, black and puce colors were only used from 1782 to 1800. Red was used onwards.
The tea pot measures about 5″ high, 8.5″ long with the handle, and 5″ wide. It is in good vintage condition considering its age. There is a very small chip on the underside of the lid that is not visible when it is on the teapot. Some wear on the some parts of the gold work which is to be expected of something this old. Inside is clean. Overall it is in really good shape for its age
