This is a delightful piece of Limoges, a small hand painted plate by Klingenberg and Dwenger of Limoges, France, that is singed by the artist on the back. It is beautifully decorated with colorful violets and a beaded gold scalloped trim. Quite delightful. The photos do not do it justice at all.
The AK manufactures mark dates this piece to between 1891 and 1910.
It measures 6.5″ in diameter. It is in remarkable condition considering its age, no chips or cracks, the gold work is in very good condition with some very minor wear spots from being on display stand. Remember this is over 100 years old.
