Description
Here is something extremely rare and very beautiful a hand painted miniature bud vase from Royal Crown Derby of England. They are known for creating stunning miniatures and are highly sort after and collectible. This is signed by the artist William Rayworth who was one of the leading artists at Crown Derby from 1861-80. Some of his items are in National Trust exhibits.
It has a beautiful hand painted butterflies in various colors and sizes. This is way way above average painted by a special artist.
There are a number of marks on the bottom, including the Stevenson and Hancock factory mark of Crown Derby and also the artist signature and date in 1871.
The vase measures 3″ in diameter and 4.25″ high. It is in great vintage condition with no chips or cracks, just some minor crazing due to age.. Please look at the photos closely as they are part of the description.
