Mildred Seeley is known for having raised the profile of antique doll collection and foremost expert on dolls and doll collection. She passed away in 2001 so there will be no new works by her, but the pieces she published will continue to live on. After her passing, her doll collection sold for a record setting $1,800,000 and one doll alone sold for $215,000. Wow! Who knew doll collecting could be so lucrative?
