Description
Here is a lovely large plate or charger from Porzellanfabrik Moschendor of Bavaria Germany decorated with a nice portrait of Queen Louise of Prussia framed with an embossed and molded beaded trim. It has a raised lip so one could almost call it a shallow bowl or serving plate. The factory decorated plate has used a technique called “Mixtion”, a process of combining transfer designs along with some hand painted highlights.
The mark places this as being made around 1895 to 1910.
Measures 11.25″ in diameter and 1.25″ high. It is in good vintage condition, no chip or cracks or crazing, some minor wear on the trim from hangers and some minor wear on the raised edges. Please look at the photos closely as they are part of the description.
