Here is a charming paperweight animal figurine from Royal Crown Derby the “Pig” decorated in Crown Derby’s famous Imari colors. This was introduced in 1985 so was one of the original designs. It was withdrawn in 1991. It was modeled by Robert Jefferson and decorated by Brian Branscombe. It is so adorable it belongs on your desk.

Royal Crown Derby paperweights started in 1981 and became so successful the have continued to today, becoming increasingly desirable and collectible. So successful that they have created a collectors guild. They are one of England’s oldest and finest porcelain manufactures going back to the 1760s.

The paperweight measures 2.25″ high by 5″ long.

It is in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Please look at the photos closely as they are part of the description.
