A gorgeous piece here circa early 1900’s, a hand painted Bavarian porcelain bowl that you don’t see it too often. It is extremely rare and can command very high prices in the several hundred dollar range. The photos do not do this justice and he colors are so dramatic and it lights up a room.
The base is marked Hand Painted Bavarian “Crimson Rambler” and is also hand numbered with what appears to be 1451 over 42. The inside of the bowl is hand decorated with Roses and Leaves. Not sure the signature shows in the pictures but it reads K. Clement. The colors are just stunning, this would display beautifully!
The plate measures 9.5″ across in diameter and 2.25″ deep. There is some minor wear on the inside of the bow land a repair and seal on a crack on the back, shown in the photo, that does not show on the front of the bowl so will make an excellent display piece. We have discounted the price from its normal $100 to $200 price tag. Remember this is over 100 years old and very rare.
Look at the photos closely to see the wonderful quality of this piece and how beautiful it would show.
