Here is a very lovely tea cup and saucer set from Crown Derby in the Red Aves pattern, Royal Crown Derby is one of England’s oldest bone china manufacturers. It is beautifully decorated in an oriental design with birds of paradise. It is delicate porcelain and so bright and pretty Quite stunning and just imagine having afternoon tea or your morning coffee with this.
The cypher dates this piece to being manufactured in 1939. We have 10 available as well as some matching luncheon plates in this pattern.
The cup measures 3 5/8″ in diameter with the handle and 2 3/8″ high with the handle.
The saucer measures 5 3/8″ in diameter.
It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks, the gold trim look very good. Please look at the photos closely as they are part of the description.
