Description

This is a beautiful hand painted bowl from Morimura Brothers, a forerunner of Noritake. The green wreath mark clearly dates this piece to early last century. Take a look at this piece closely, it is delightfully decorated with a lake scene that looks so peaceful. There is a lovely Moriage beadwork along the trim. The handles have a lovely design with a little dab of white to accent the design. Just delightful.

The bowl measures approx 6.5″ square and abbut 1.75″ high. This bowl is in good vintage condition. It is missing a few beads as you can see in the photos for which we have discounted the price. Remember this piece is probably close to 100 years old. There are no chips or nicks or major scratches, but please look at the photos closely as my eyes aren’t what they used to be, but also to look at the outstanding quality of the decoration and workmanship.
